The Cornell law School is to start an exchange programme with a top Chinese university, the Peking University Law School. Many american law schools now are looking at linking up with other universities or to offer online courses. A good example is Briarcliffe College (Patchogue) which offers a comprehensive law programme which can be found at http://www.bcpat.com/. This is an excellent way to embark on a legal career or improve professional skills.
The Cornell exchange program will include both students and professors. Leading Chinese professors will teach Chinese corporate law in Cornell in the next semester. This is the start of many initiatives which will bring expertise in chinese law to american students to help the expected growth in US:Sino trade.
